The 5 signs a perfume has turned
- Color darkening: golden juice gone amber-brown = oxidation. (Naturally dark ambers: compare against purchase photos.)
- The vinegar opening: a sour, sharp, nail-polish first 30 seconds that was never there before.
- Metallic top notes: citrus and fresh notes die first and smell like coins on the way out.
- Flattened composition: the story is gone - it opens and just sits there.
- Sediment or cloudiness in a formerly clear juice.
